The work "Self Portrait in Red" is a self photograph from my 20's. I printed it on a canvas and put real make-up & acrylic. I always put red make-up whenever I want to feel very sexy and for special occasions. I examine the natural/not-natural look, all my life. Now I'm in my 40's and I'm still playing with this issue, but as I'm getting older: "less is more" and I'm not coloring myself as I was younger. The subject of the exhibition remind me my sexy make-up I used to put, so I took the picture from those years and colored it.
